Testing is very important so if you do have one that gets HCM you can provide proper treatment. We also do the HCM DNA testing which helps with tracking as well as breeding quality cats that do not carry the gene. You have to remember even with a negative DNA it doesn't mean it won't ever happen so yearly testing is a must.
